UPDATE: I-90 back to normal
Traffic is back to normal after a milk tanker rolled over early this morning, spilling milk and diesel fuel.
At 1:48 p.m., the State Patrol announced the northbound, right lane reopened after it was closed to remove the turned over truck from the highway.
At 7:30 a.m., 37-year-old Phillip Spoolstra of Brandon, Wis., was traveling southbound in the left lane of I-90 when his left front tire blew, causing him to lose control.
Spoolstra's truck crossed the median and the two northbound lanes of traffic before rolling onto its side in the ditch.

I was on my way to work and saw the dirt and dust in the air infront of me. I did not know it came all the way from the south bound lanes. Real lucky the truck didnt hit anyone. Almost everyone who saw this going north stopped to help.

I work 3rd shift in Madison and saw this accident this morning on my way home. I saw the skid marks from the South bound lanes going across and then the truck laying in the ditch on its side. Looked like a mess! At least no one was seriously hurt or killed.

good one about the spilt milk.
I am quite sure many were needing a change of pants (or skirts, etc).

It was either good luck or very good driving to cross the median and oncoming lanes, without hitting anybody. I’ll bet it gave some northbound drivers a real thrill, though!
.
There’s no use crying over spilt milk, but oh baby, that is sure gonna stink by tomorrow. Best hope for a good rain to wash that milk into the ground, and soon!
