As flooding on the Rock River continues to be a major problem in Beloit, Rock and Walworth counties are about to get hit with thunderstorms through the weekend.

The National Weather Service in Sullivan has forecast thunderstorms to start as early as this morning with a 20 to 60 percent chance of storms continuing through Saturday and again on Sunday when there is a chance for an isolated thunderstorm.

Meanwhile, flood victims able to get back into their homes and starting the clean-up process are eligible for Red Cross clean-up kits that include mops, brooms, buckets and other cleaners through the Emergency Response Vehicles’ distribution at no cost.

That's just silly. The bible clearly says that the earth won't be flooded again. That's why we have rainbows :)

I heard someone was building an ark in Newville and gathering animals by the pairs. Hope he licensed the ark so the authorities don't ticket him.
