Three more counties on FEMA disaster list
MADISON (AP) — Three more Wisconsin counties have been declared federal disaster areas, raising the total to 22 counties hit hard by heavy storms and floods earlier this month.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency said Saturday that Dane, Juneau and Ozaukee counties have been added to the list.
The designation means people in those counties are now eligible for federal assistance.
Already declared disaster areas are Columbia, Crawford, Dodge, Fond du Lac, Grant, Green, Iowa, Kenosha, Marquette, Milwaukee, Racine, Richland, Rock, Sauk, Sheboygan, Vernon, Washington, Waukesha and Winnebago counties.
