Rock River crest imminent
JANESVILLE—The worst flooding is virtually over.
The Rock River was expected to crest at 13.5 feet at Afton about 7 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. At its last measurement at 6:15 a.m., the river level was 13.49 feet at Afton.
The river crested at 15.08 feet at Newville at 11:15 p.m. Friday and at 13.33 feet in Indianford at 3 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
