Flooding cancels Business After 5

JANESVILLE--Forward Janesville has canceled its Business After 5 event planned for Thursday at the Janesville Convention and Visitors Bureau due to flooding at the Olde Towne Mall, 20 S. Main St.

The next Business After 5 event is July 31 at the Janesville Country Club.

Oops, I forgot. Sarcasm or humor of any kind is not allowed on the Gazette blogs because too many people take it seriously.
FYI, ap2533jvl, I WAS downtown stacking sandbags this weekend, cursing the idiots who, rather than coming over to help, were more interested in wading through the disgusting water and ignoring the yellow caution tape to walk their children along the river wall inches from the raging current.

Actually, the flood is great for tourism right now. Have never seen so many tourists downtown!
