It would be nice if the gawkers would help with the sandbagging. That way they could get a good look & do some good.

The gawkers mostly don't seem to realize they can't turn left onto Main St., which is blocked by sawhorses on BOTH sides of Centerway. There was plenty of room on Parker Drive, though.
.
I presume they kept or will keep the intersection open as long as they have room for one lane in each direction. But it's definitely going to be a bottleneck, especially if Parker gets completely flooded underneath Memorial, as seems likely. Plan trips accordingly.

It has been slow on Centerway by PapaJohns all day. Tons of gawkers trying to get down there to see the river without parking somewhere and walking!

Is it slow moving on Centerway by Papa Johns then? Wondering if I should take an alternate route home to the S Side??

I just came thru there and Adams Roofing is under water. Main St in front of their building has the water up to the bottom of the cars doors that are parked on the street. The other side of Main St is flooding also, and is down to one lane. I can see why they are going to close it down. EB Memorial Bridge on ramp is shut down off Centerway too, for water on the roadway. It is only going to get worse, sigh!
