South Washington and Lapham streets to close

South Washington Street, between State and Lapham Streets, is scheduled to close to through traffic for one week beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday.

Lapham Street, between South Washington and South Terrace Streets, is scheduled to be closed to through traffic, for one week, beginning June 16.

Local access to residences within these street sections will be maintained during the closure.

A signed detour route will not be established for this project.

A contractor, working for the City of Janesville, will be installing storm sewer improvements, just prior to new street paving on South Washington and Lapham Streets.
