Man found dead on Highway 51 identified
JANESVILLE—Authorities have identified the man found dead Monday morning on Highway 51 south of Janesville.
Carl G. Knutson, Jr., 39, of Janesville, died of a heart attack, according to a Rock County Sheriff’s Office press release.
The autopsy was conducted at the Veterans Hospital, Madison.
Sheriff’s deputies found Knutson lying next to a bicycle on the shoulder of the road in front of the McFarlane Pheasant Farm, 2821 S. Highway 51 in Rock Township.
Rock County Coroner Jenifer Keach pronounced Knutson dead at 3:20 a.m.

the man touched many peoples hearts and became someone the kids could turn to and the family thanks all that took the time to express theyre concerns and thoughts of his death

How very sad there was no one around to get him help, help that could have saved his life.
Not to mention he is so young. What a tragedy!
