Severe storm warning for Rock County
From the National Weather Service:
A severe thunderstorm warning is issued for Rock County until 1:45 p.m.
At 12:29, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing nickel size hail, and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.
This storm was located 14 miles west of Orfordville, or 6 miles east of Monroe, and moving east at 35 mph.
The severe thunderstorm will be near, Orfordville by 12:50 p.m., 8 miles south of Footville by 12:55 p.m., 7 miles south of Janesville airport by 1:10 p.m., Beloit by 1:15 p.m., Clinton by 1:25 p.m.
This is a dangerous storm. If you are in its path, move to a sturdy shelter, but away from windows. If you experience significant wind damage or large hail please contact local law enforcement for relay to the national weather service.
A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening for southeastern Wisconsin.

OMG...I was in Monroe at 12:11pm and the wind and clouds were blowing so fast and hard, I was wiggling in my seat....I turned around to head home, but realized that the storm was heading towards home, so I stuck it out, but boy what a scary storm to be out in.....I hope no one was hurt or had a significant wind damage. My tahoe was literally being pushed by the wind....

so will it really raain this time. we need it. i think weather people have mentioned this at least 4 times in the last couple weeks and no significant rainfall yet.
