MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin and other states in the Upper Midwest are being bombarded with television advertising from presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain.

A report released Wednesday by the Wisconsin Advertising Project shows that the most money has been spent on TV ads so far in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan. Wisconsin is sixth on the list.

The report by the group based at the University of Wisconsin-Madison looked at ads that ran between the end of the primary season on June 3 and July 26.

It found that Obama has spent more than $27 million while McCain has spent more than $21 million.

Combined, more than 100,000 ads have run. That compares with just 77,000 over the same period in 2004.

If you'd review the earlier posts, you'd read that I said "I have yet to see an ad that would change my vote". I referred to the LBJ/Goldwater campaign because that particular ad is the only one that "resonates" with me. Meaning, it is the only ad that I truly remember.

If that AD changed your mind LaKennedy and would have made you go with LBJ, then why wouldn't you believe anything that B'Rock Hussien Obama is putting out right now. There is no way you would ever change your vote because of an ad especially for a so called Republican.

And we've only just begun...
Get ready for a long four months, people. I have yet to see an ad that would change my vote. I don't think I'm alone in that opinion, either. What a tremendous waste of money. I'd like to see the data that tracks how effective these ads are. Heck, the ad from 1964 LBJ used when campaigning against Goldwater resonates with me more than any ad I've seen in my lifetime...
