Railroad works closes South Jackson Street on Friday

South Jackson Street between West Delavan Drive and West State Street will be closed to through traffic at 7 a.m. Friday, July 25, while Wisconsin & Southern Railroad replaces rails through its crossing on South Jackson Street.

Traffic will be detoured around the closure on West Delavan Drive, Beloit Avenue and Reuther Way. Local access to driveways, however, will be maintained throughout the closure.

During the closure of South Jackson Street, the Kellogg Avenue bus route will detour from south on Jackson to east on Delavan Drive and south on Beloit Avenue. Normal routing will resume when Jackson Street opens by Friday night.
