MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Madison police are investigating another homicide in a south side neighborhood that’s been riddled with violence, drug dealing and prostitution.

Police say a woman was found dead in an upstairs apartment Tuesday. A man she lived with was taken to the hospital with injuries.

Police spokesman Joel DeSpain says both were in their 40s.

Three homicides, two non-fatal shootings and other problems have plagued the Burr Oaks Neighborhood in the past 20 months.

Although not stated in this article, in a segment on last nights news, a Madison police officer said that this crime could have happened anywhere, as it was domestic violence.

Mytake4u:
This story doesn't spell it out but the murder took place on Badger Road, which has been a crime-ridden cesspool for years and years and home to a lot of people who move up from Chicago. Not as bad as Chicago's South Side, but worse than Janesville and Beloit for sure.

mytake,

What kind of drivel is that? Do you have even the tiniest bit of support for this nonsense?
