kiowamohican: I think you're right on that one... jmo, but we're beyond what they sugar coat as an economic recession... no one knows for sure what is going to happen in the presidencies to come, but prepare for the worst...
Bush will be very happy when he has left office. If you think things are bad now, you have seen NOTHING yet. The suits in Washington have tried to hold the economy up through November with smoke and mirror stimulus packages, reckless rate cuts, and LOTS of hot air...The "Bush economy" will be looking good compared to what you are going to see in a few years, trust me on that one.
Yeah.... let's just drill for more oil. That's a great solution. If we drill for more oil, the price of gas will go down and everything will be good again. Until we run out of oil, that is. Bush is not solely to blame, but he definitely didn't try to prevent this from happening. Even now, he isn't taking or proposing the right steps to get us out of the situation.
If our president wanted to drill for oil or fix the energy crisis as bad as he wanted to go to war or wiretap people it would be done...don't blame the environmentalist. as they have been there for decades...jmo
President Bush is a great man. How is it his fault that the environmentalists have given this much control of our economy to OPEC. I don't understand why some people insist on us being dependent upon terrorist sponsoring nations for our fuel. Until we can get some electric powered or ethanol powered cars, we need to starting pumping oil in ANWAR ASAP. As soon as we can get gas at a reasonable price, everything will settle down.
could someone please tell me which end of the president is up?? I think he's reading the flow charts upside-down... the price of everything is increasing, but what little the nation is getting from the stimulus package, how does that make us, the nation able to afford the basic needs?? ok, $300/single, $600/married, and an UP to an additional $300/child... when it takes anywhere from $70-$120 to fill a car or truck tank every week and a half or 2 (or more often, depending on how much you drive), that's almost half if you're in the single bracket for payout... wow, we have a real "winner" in the white house...
I'm not sure left or right turns are gonna help. Seems like we are surrounded by cliffs and minefields..
When is the last time anyone in Washington DC had to pump and pay for their own gas or pay for their own groceries...I feel bad for the young adults trying to start their adult life burdened by debt...national debt that is and school loans.
It just goes to show you the Reagan trickle down on theroy and the Bush neocon policies are failures. It is high time for change. I've heard enough lies from the right we had better turn to our left.
Our President actually believes the economy is growing...trade is up..
This man is an ostrich...except his head is not buried in the ground but somewhere else.
