The Janesville Farmers Market will return to its home on Main Street on Saturday.

The market had been meeting in the parking lot of the Rock County Courthouse because of downtown flooding, but organizers received the OK from the city over the weekend to move it back, manager Teri Huber said.

The market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays on North Main Street between Centerway and Milwaukee Street.

When I first heard of the farmers market, I thought it was going to be at the corn exchange. That would be neat. Is there even a corn exchange in Janesville anymore? Does anybody even know where it is? There should be a plaque there somewhere. There was a statue of a tank there at one time. It's next to the First National bank on Milwaukee St downtown. I think it's still the First National bank.
