Diamondbacks stun Brewers in ninth
PHOENIX - Conor Jackson hit the winning two-run single as the Arizona Diamondbacks rallied from a five-run ninth-inning deficit to defeat the Milwaukee Brewers 6-5 on Thursday.
Three Brewers pitchers failed to record an out as seven straight Diamondbacks reached base in the ninth.
The rally began against Guillermo Mota, who gave up a leadoff single by Robby Hammock, a walk to Chris Burke and an infield single to Augie Ojeda.
Lefty Brian Shouse came on to face pinch-hitter Chad Tracy, who hit the first pitch into the gap in right-center field to clear the bases and cut the Diamondbacks' deficit to 5-3.
Brewers manager Ned Yost summoned closer Salomon Torres, who gave up a bloop single to Justin Upton, which put runners at the corners. Orlando Hudson's double down the left field line made it 5-4 and sent Upton to third base.
Jackson followed with a single through the drawn-in infield, scoring Upton and Hudson as the Diamondbacks poured out of their dugout to celebrate reaching .500 (43-43).

Being a former brewer fan and now living in Yuma AZ, I have become a D-Back fan. Great comeback for the team and thats what makes baseball a great and exciting game. Like Yogi said it ain't over til its over. Still am and always will be a Packer fan.
