Police seek cat that bit a Janesville man

The Janesville Police Department is asking the public for helping in finding a cat that bit a man at 2 a.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Putnam Ave.

The cat is described as large and gray with darker gray stripes.

The cat also has been seen in the Putnam Avenue neighborhood before.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (608) 755-3100.

All points be on the lookout for a large gray cat with gray stripes last seen in the Putnam Avenue area. Suspect should be considered armed to the teeth and extremely dangerous. Approach with caution.

I would be interested in seeing a sketch of the perpetrator by the police artist on the JPD staff.

I'm sure the Janesville Police will take the wrong cat into custody.
