Rock County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating three burglaries that occurred near each other within two daylight hours Monday, Rock County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Todd Christiansen said.

The first burglary was reported at 11:30 a.m. on County S, followed by another burglary on East Colley Road at 11:42 a.m.

In the East Colley Road incident, a woman reported that a man walked into her kitchen, saw her, said “hi,” and then ran from the house, according to sheriff’s reports. The man was with an “older man,” who was in a pickup truck parked in the driveway. No other description of them men was available, Christiansen said.

A Sony PlayStation and video games valued at $100 were reported stolen from the home on County S.

The third burglary was reported at 1:38 p.m. on East County X. No details were available about that burglary yet.

“We are thinking they are connected,” Christiansen said.
