Update on snow forecast
From the National Weather Service:
Snow will continue across south central and southeast Wisconsin today and throughout tonight. The snow will continue to increase in intensity this afternoon. The snow will then taper off from west to east after midnight. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches are expected by late tonight.
A push of warmer air ahead of an approaching low pressure system is responsible for the return of snowy winter weather. The low pressure system will move from the central plains this morning across far northern Illinois tonight, reaching lower Michigan Tuesday morning.
A snow advisory remains in effect until 3:00 a.m. Tuesday.
