Clinton police and fire officials evacuated portions of all three Clinton schools and Scot Forge after receiving a bomb threat from a male caller Monday.

Police Chief James Korth says the caller reported a bomb had been placed at Scot Forge and two of the schools. No additional information was provided by the caller.

Staff members assisted officers in the immediate search of all common areas in each building. Students and employees were then evacuated into those areas while the remainder of the buildings were searched.

Korth encourages anyone with information about the incident to call the Clinton Police Department at 676-5140.

They should wait a week to let the "little darling" brag to a classmate or two, then announce the school year has been extended by a whole week to make up for the lost time and disruption of classes. Let him feel some peer pressure.
