Arrests after shooting in Beloit

Quick arrests for Beloit police after a shooting a little after 6:00 Friday morning in the 1300 block of Keeler.

Captain Bill Tyler believes he knows where the shots came from a car. Two men are in custody.

Tyler says the intended victim was not injured.

thanks mojo! it won't be long and the gazette will start removing any comments that start getting closer to the truth. that's the way it works right. SaraB will complain that the truth offends her,(even though it's the truth that worries us)and because we are not PC people we must go. but the problem element in the community may stay............LOL!!!!

UB, I bet ur glad to be back! We are! Anyway, even though there is increasing employement in Beloit, there still isn't alot of high paying jobs, plus too many visitors from Rockford and Chicago add to the many problems in Beloit. On the other hand, Clinton, which only has a population of around 1800 is starting to have problems as well.

bigred, of course you are not surprised by the violence in Beloit. It's typical of that town and when you bring it up, everybody gets defenseive like nothing is going on. Keep burying your heads in the sand folks.

I recently moved to Charlotte NC the crime there is alot worse there than here. Of coures it is more populated, be greatfull you live in small populated city.

I expect that kind of thing in beloit, it is no surprise here, but I ask Myself, what in the world is going on?..... and can we expect things like that to happen in janesville more too?.... I also would like to add, good job beloit P.D. .
