Glen Loyd from the State Division of Consumer Protection will tell a Janesville audience Thursday about the top ten rip-offs in Wisconsin.

Hedberg Public Library spokeswoman Elizabeth Hough says Loyd won't be talking about any scams specific to Janesville, but broader consumer fraud issues. She says library patrons are interested in hearing how to protect themselves from becoming a victim.

Hough says she will be keeping an eye on the weather, but didn't want to prematurely cancel the program due to the threat of snow.
