Public input sought on Delavan's parks
DELAVAN—The city is seeking public input about the parks system.
A workshop will be held at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Delavan Community Bank Community Centre, 826 E. Geneva St.
The city hopes to learn how the current parks system works and doesn’t work for the community and what kind of demand there is for recreation options such as hiking and biking trails, swimming pools and dog parks.
The workshop is part of a seven-month planning process to update the city’s Parks and Open Space Plan. The process began in October and should be complete this spring.
The workshop will be led by the city’s planning consultant Dustin Wolf of Crispell-Snyder of Lake Geneva.
