Milton man attacked with hammer
MILTON-A Milton man was hospitalized after being attacked with a hammer in his sleep.
Milton Police officers were called to the 100 block of West Madison Avenue, Milton at 2:40 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived at the scene, they found a 43-year-old man with severe head injuries, according to a news release from the Milton Police Department.
Witnesses told police that Jordan J. Sullivan, 22, entered the home and began attacking the victim with a hammer while he was sleeping.
The victim was transported to Mercy Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was treated and released from the hospital.
At 4:30 a.m., police found Sullivan at the home of a relative.
After being treated for minor injuries at Edgerton Hospital, Sullivan was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery while armed.
The incident is still under investigation.

I know who this Jordan guy is, he has had a very troubled past with crime and violence. No real surprise. I agree with first degree attempted murder. You dont attack someone with a hammer while they're sleeping and not intend to do fatal harm. Lets hope Rock county gets this one right!

A bar-time aggravated attack in which the attacker beats a guy in the head with a hammer while he is sleeping!??!?!? WOW
