Public visitation planned for Dreyfus
MADISON, Wis. (AP) - There will be a five-hour public visitation for former Governor Lee Sherman Dreyfus, who died on Wednesday.
Funeral services and burial for Dreyfus will be private on Monday.
The visitation is scheduled Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at the Lee Sherman Dreyfus State Office Building in Waukesha. At 5 p.m. there will be a brief religious service there, but no eulogies.
On Monday a private funeral is planned for family and close friends at Saint Matthias Episcopal Church in Waukesha -- followed by a private burial at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.
A registry book will be available for people to sign in the state Capitol's Rotunda next week.
