WHITEWATER—A Janesville man died outside a propane company on Whitewater’s south side sometime Wednesday morning.

Steven F. Haney of Janesville apparently died of natural causes, Lt. Tim Gray said.

An autopsy will be held sometime Thursday. Haney had known heart conditions, Walworth County Chief Deputy Coroner Tom Miller said.

A passer-by noticed him laying in the parking lot near his truck about 6:07 a.m. in the parking lot of the AmeriGas Propane Company, 656 S. Janesville St. He was already dead when police arrived, Gray said. Police did not attempt to resuscitate him.

He is believed to have died sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. Miller said.

Since when has the Gazette started printing a deceased address ? I was sent the story that was published first before it was rewritten.I found this to be very disturbing and hope that there are no problems for the family because of your actions. I had never noticed this before and have never noticed it done in other papers. What has happened to Privacy and safety for families ? is it not enough to lose a loved one but now the worry of damage to there property also!
