Hearing set in Koepp case
A preliminary hearing date of April 15 was scheduled Thursday afternoon for James C. Koepp.
Koepp, 49, an inmate at Columbia Correctional Institution, is charged with three counts of first-degree intentional homicide in the January 2007 murders of Danyetta Lentz and her teenage children, Nicole and Scott.
The preliminary hearing will determine if there is enough evidence to bind Koepp over for trial on the felony charges.
The hearing will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, before Court Commissioner Stephen Meyer.

I'm very happy that this case is moving along. I'm sure no matter what my family will have justice.God is with us one hundred percent! I don't believe in the death penalty that's to easy for someone who is already a walking demon!

Crash99:
If an "eye for an eye" worked, Texas would have no murder rate. The fact is that the death penalty has no affect on whether people will commit a crime. In the moment of passion that many murders occur, the person committing the crime isn't thinking, "Wait, maybe I'll get the death penalty. Perhaps I should think about this." Instead of pretending you want the death penalty because it's going to deter crime, call it what it is ... revenge. Unfortunately, too many people have been put to death for crimes they didn't commit, that's why I don't support the death penalty.

the death penalty is a very cruel thing i understand that he possibly killed 3 innocent victims but it gives no right for the government to have the right to kill someone. I do not think the death penalty should be constitutional
