Arrest made in conjunction with attempted car break-ins

Janesville police arrested a 23-year-old man overnight for a number of attempted car break-ins.

Police said there are at least 27 automobiles involved and more could be discovered this morning.

Police said Jacob Carlson was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. Additional charges are pending.

Thank you to the Janesville police for catching this guy in the middle of the snow storm and ice last night. My vehicles were some that were broken into. We had no idea this was going on until they knocked on the door last night.
