Incumbents carry onto Walworth County primaries

Walworth County voters will have a choice of an incumbent in all but one of the new 11 supervisory districts.

Incumbents running for county board again made it through in each of the seven primaries Tuesday night.

Also making it through are newcomers or former supervisors in districts 2, 3, 7, 8 and 11.

Newcomers were forced out in districts 6 and 10, leaving only incumbents squaring off.

Only District 5, which did not have a primary, has two newcomers without an incumbent.

The unofficial results were:

DISTRICT 2-- √ Joe Scahefer (I) 871, √ Bill Norem 616, Jim C. Simons 501, Terry Wilson 362.

DISTRICT 3-- √ Ann Lohrmann (I) 1,066, √ Frederick Mark Bromley 1,019, Craig Stauffer 300.

DISTRICT 6-- √ Kathy Ingersoll (I) 1,019, √ Larry Hilbelink (I) 390, Robert Grohall 365.

DISTRICT 7-- √ David A. Weber(I) 1,047, √ Sonja Berg-Schlesner 570, James P. D’Alessandro 558.

DISTRICT 8-- √ Daniel G. Kilkenny (I) 777, √ Jerry Waelti 409, Joseph C. Guido Sr. (I) 312, Dorothy Burwell (I) 246.

DISTRICT 10-- √ Randy A. Hawkins (I) 623, √ Pauline Parker (I) 494, Elizabeth Lyons 376.

DISTRICT 11-- √ Nancy Russell (I) 816, √ Spyro ‘Speedo’ Condos 492, Alan Kupsik (I) 271.
