Everyone who freaks out that Baracks middle name is Hussein needs to quit being petty. He didn't name himself. His parents did. Besides that he is named after his father. He never even really had a relationship with his father either so for all of you who get scared because his father was Muslim relax, Barack barely knew the man. I suggest you read his 2 books, Dreams from my Father and The Audacity of Hope so you get a feel for who this man really is.

If Barack had named his children Malia Hitler Obama and Sasha Stalin Obama then I might be a little bit worried.

***Obama 08***
Lets get OBAMAFIED

Obama's soon to be announced running mate will explain the origin of the name. It comes from the phrase "Klaatu baraka nikto".

I don't understand why people freak out about Obama's father being Muslim. Or that his middle name is Hussain. Maybe it gives him a bit more insight on how to deal with a religion that is very, very misunderstood, rather than just bomb countries that have a different view than the US. Who freakin cares.

I can hardly wait to see Obama ride into Washington on a white horse and change the world. I really, truly, and sincerely want to see that happen.

Danias- very childish. I guess to you it does not matter what he wants to do for you and our country. The name means "he who stands for and confronts". I believe that as long as Obama is standing for the right things then the name totally fits.

Obama nearly quadrupled McCain's total. And Hillary almost tripled it. Way to go Rock! Proud of you. Maybe a new day WILL come.

All the votes were counted. Curious how many Republicans voted for who they perceive to be the more "Beatable" Democrat in the fall. It was really nice to see the candidates actually come to Rock County to campaign in a race that still mattered. I hope whoever wins will remember us when in office.
