Chelsea covers wide range of topics in Q&A
More than 300 people—mostly students—turned out to hear Chelsea Clinton answer questions about her mother’s presidential campaign at Beloit College this afternoon.
“I am here to talk about whatever it is that you would like to talk about,” Clinton said to the crowd packed into the dining area of Pearsons Hall.
Clinton offered no prepared opening and took questions from the audience for about an hour. Students questioned her on everything from Hillary Clinton’s plans in Palestine and Israel to what she would do for people with autism.
Beloit College students today are treated with a taste of each Democratic presidential candidate’s campaign as Sen. Barack Obama is scheduled to speak at the Flood Arena tonight.

GaryPrimer....I agree...with you. They all need a fair amount of respect and consideration. That is why I also said it was in poor tast for Obama to have Oprah speak on his behalf as well as his wife. These people are only stating bias opinions, and have no true value as far as helping a civillian make their choice. The canidate can only make up the mind of potential voters....not their puppets.

Perhaps Chelsea's Q&A at Beloit College contributes nothing to her mother's campaign. However, she could have avoided a lot of bad publicity for both her and her mother if she had granted an interview with nine-year-old Scholastic News reporter Sydney Rieckhoff. Is this damage control?

i agree starstruck.. but what i dont agree with is the ignorance on this page. they both SOUND GOOD... but when its all said & over who ever makes it to the seat in my opinion i feel is gonna renig anyway on some things he/she promised. yes its hard being in that position with very hard decisions but you cant judge a book by its cover. give both a chance is what im saying without already trying to judge. your not god you cannot judge anybody..!!!

Hillary deserves some support from the lunatic fringe just as much as Barack does. I know that she has a much better idea of what it takes to be a president than Barack does at this point. Are we ready to go through another on-the-job training program? The current one has not worked out very well and after seven years, I think that everyone has agreed to throw in the towel. Barack is a very intelligent and dedicated man and I predict that he will figure things out in the first year, but that the year will be very frustrating for him and he will emerge a man very different from the one speaking in Beloit tonight. Hillary knows what she is up against and will fair better in the first year and probably every year after that. On the other hand, while there are many who absolutely hate Hillary, it will be considered a mortal sin to criticize Barack on just about any issue for fear of being labeled a racist, the equivalent of being labeled a heretic during the Spanish Inquisition (without the torture, mutilation, and excruciating death, but equally hard to negate). This has the potential to be very divisive for the country, unjust as that is. Some of the Obama supporters that I am reading about appear to have contracted some form rabies.

And she contribues how? The people who go and listen to her are just star struck. She is saying only what she is told to. The only person who should speak on the canidates behalf....IS THE CANIDATE THEMSElF!!
