From the National Weather Service:

The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has issued a winter storm watch, which is in effect from Sunday morning through Sunday evening.

Snow amounts generally in the 6 to 13 inch range are possible Sunday into Sunday evening, with the highest amounts over southeast Wisconsin. Slightly lower amounts are possible to the northwest. In addition, strong winds with the low may cause blowing and drifting snow. Those with travel plans Sunday and sunday evening should keep up with the latest forecasts.

A winter storm watch is issued when heavy snow, and/or sleet, and/or freezing rain may combine with strong winds to cause major impacts to commerce and society. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts for updates and possible warnings.

Hey, where is Al Gore when we need him? I love it, we needed a winter like this for many reasons. Back in my day we had winters like this every year. We didnt have salt, sand or interstates, what a life. In GA there lakes, rivers are all dried up and they dont know where they are going to get drinking water. And who would want to live in FL or CA. geeze

Foofoo, I SO agree with you. I am not a fan of winter and the only reason I still live here is because my husband won't leave. But, this has been the best winter! I am loving all this snow. If it's going to be cold, then we might as well get something to play with out there! I too love it when my kids are home. I couldn't have put it better than you did. =) I am lucky though, my husband does all the shoveling. Although I do help if I am not working.

It's a free country. If you don't like the weather here, you can always move. It's all about choice.

While I MUST say I am tired of the white white white....I am thankful it is not muddy ~ dirty ~ slushy ~ messy white.... I do have to say, a little piece of me gets that twinge of excitement in my tummy as I did when I was a child when there is a snowstorm going on. I just love my family all bunkered down together all safe and sound with the fire burning in the fireplace and watching the pretty snow falling out of my front window....And call me a little off my rocker, but I LOVE IT when there is a snow day and my boys get to stay home with me. I just love it. BUT I am really ready for my tulips....oh the thought of little shoots coming up out of the ground ((sigh))..but until then, if it is winter, it is winter....bring it on Miss Nature....just please all be safe~!

We always listen to the people who don't like the weather but I just gotta say this. This has been the best winter we have had for a long time. I love this white stuff.
