Wisconsin Treasurer Dawn Marie Sass will visit Walworth County tomorrow on her “County Courthouse Tour” across the state.

Sass will be in Room 111 of the Walworth County Government Center, 100 W. Walworth St., Elkhorn, from 10 to 11 a.m.

Sass is meeting with county Treasurer James D. Goetz and will be available to the public.

“I want to use this tour as a method of building awareness of the State Treasurer’s Office,” she said in a statement.

Sass will bring with her the Unclaimed Property Database, which allows citizens to see if they have unclaimed property owed to them.

There are 15,228 Walworth County citizens owed more than $3.1 million, according to a news release.

For more information on unclaimed property, visit www.ost.state.wi.us.
