McCain confirms Wisconsin visit
MILWAUKEE (AP) - Republican presidental frontrunner John McCain has confirmed his first campaign appearance in Wisconsin.
The Arizona senator's campaign Web site says he will be at the Reagan Day Dinner on Friday night at American Serb Hall. McCain is scheduled to appear at 7 p.m.
Presidential candidates from both parties are planning numerous stops in Wisconsin before next week's primary.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, is expected at a rally in Pewaukee on Wednesday evening and has several stops planned Thursday. He is one of McCain's two remaining rivals.
American Serb Hall is a popular stop for political candidates, including former President Bill Clinton and current Vice President Dick Cheney.
