Traffic piling up on Interstate
Traffic is already piling up on Interstate 90/39 after slick conditions have caused several run-offs and other traffic incidents, a Rock County 911 dispatcher said.
Two semi-trailer trucks have jacknifed in the eastbound lanes south of Janesville near the 177 mile marker, blocking traffic, dispatcher Derek Nimer said. The Edgerton Fire Department is also responding to a runoff near Newville, he said. No serious injuries have been reported, he said.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is reporting Interstate crashes near Stoughton, Wisconsin Dells and other areas. The state patrol described complete blockage and white-out conditions near Stoughton and advised drivers to stay away from the area.

I live south of Janesville with a wide view of I-90. Just as a note, I-90 is moving again. East-bound lanes were completely stopped for a length of time, but they're moving again. West bound is going a bit faster.

When we have these weather conditions and warn people to stay off the roads, how can we get these posted at the Ill line also! Like a big billboard accross the last toll-booth!
"Wisconsin has bad road conditions, drive carefully and be aware of slippery conditions! If not going to follow these rules, turn around and go back home!!!"
