Lake Leota plan released
The restoration of Lake Leota could cost between $1.7 million and $2.6 million, according to a plan released today from the city of Evansville and Vierbicher Associates.
Cost hinges on where the city deposits the lake bed material that will be removed from the lake. The closer the material is deposited, the lower the cost.
The city drained the lake in 2006 and hired Vierbicher in November to create a lake restoration plan. The city council will discuss the plan at its 6:30 p.m. meeting Tuesday.

way to much money, when there are other big projects they are looking at doing as well.
