Clinton coming to Democratic dinner in Milwaukee
MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Hillary Rodham Clinton will headline a state Democratic Party dinner in Milwaukee on Feb. 16.
The party announced Clinton's plans to attend the event just three days before Wisconsin's Feb. 19 primary.
Clinton's challenger, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, also has been invited to the Founders Day Gala. State party chairman Joe Wineke says he is optimistic that Obama also will attend.
Clinton's appearance would be her first in the state during this campaign unless she schedules another stop between now and then.
