The Janesville Gazette is suspending delivery of today's paper because of the severe weather.

Anyone who did not receive Wednesday's paper will receive it together with Thursday's paper.

Seven-day print subscribers are reminded that they may view the paper in its entirety online, on the Gazette E-Edition. A link to the E-Edition is at www.gazettextra.com.

The Gazette building downtown will close at 3 p.m., and the switchboard will shut down. Anyone with news to report may send an e-mail to newsroom@gazettextra.com. The Gazette newsroom will remain staffed until at least 4 p.m.; call 754-3311, Ext. 252, with any urgent message.

The Gazette apologizes for the inconvenience.

ame8736--The Gazette is doing a great job of keeping us up-to-date on what is going on. There is no need to grumble about no papers being out there to buy or delivered. Better everyone stays home.

Thanks to to staff of the paper, those who came in and are keeping us informed.

RE: ame8736. I guess some people aren't happy if they don't have anything to complain about.

It is only common sense that they wouldn't have the carriers out today the way the wx is! Of course, there are always those who wouldn't go out themselves but think nothing of demanding that others do it for their convenience.

BTW: there always is the radio or TV that can be used to get the news!

The right decision. Not safe for anyone to be out. Let the grumbling begin. Here is one that won't grumble, a wise choice Gazette!
