Walworth County Board forums tomorrow

Two forums for Walworth County Board candidates are slated for Tuesday evening.

The forums are for candidates in Districts 7 and 8.

The forums will be held:

-- 6:30 p.m. at the Williams Bay Municipal Building, 250 Williams St., Williams Bay. District 7 candidates Sonja Berg-Schlesner, James P. D’Alessandro and David Weber will have a 4-minute opening and 20 minutes for questions and answers. The forum is sponsored by the Williams Bay Civic League and the Geneva Lake Branch of the American Association of University Women. It will be moderated and questioners must identify themselves.

-- 7 p.m. at the Phoenix Middle School Auditorium, 414 Beloit St., Delavan. The Delavan Enterprise and Delavan mayoral candidate Ellen Reddy are hosting a forum for District 8 candidates Dorothy Burwell, Joseph Guido, Sr., Dan Kilkenny and Jerry Waelti. Reddy will moderate the forum. The forum will allow each candidate to share background on their views and goals as a board member. Audience members can also ask questions.

District 7 is made up of Williams Bay, and parts of Delavan Township, Geneva Township and Linn Township.

District 8 is primarily the city of Delavan and parts of Delavan Township.
