From the WCLO Newsroom:

Three Janesville residents are hospitalized after an Interstate crash in Columbia County Wednesday.

State Patrol officials say 80-year-old Vanthong Phoulavan appears to have lost control of his vehicle on I-39 near De Forest. The vehicle crossed all three northbound lanes and collided with a tow truck stopped on the median shoulder. Phoulavan and his two passengers, 58-year-old Phaichit Phaengsan and 63-year-old Phanh Phoulavan were transported to UW Hospital in Madison. Authorities say none of the injuries appears life threatening. All involved were wearing seat belts.

The reason for the crash is under investigation.

This is too bad, but I don't think people that old should be driving anymore.

oh so sad, this guy was a great worker at GM for years. I worked by him. He is from Laos originally. Prayers are going out for him and family..
