Shovelers can stay home

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay Packers no longer need help-at least not with shoveling.

The Packers had originally said snow on Christmas resulted in enough accumulation to require shoveling at Lambeau Field.

But Packers spokesman Aaron Popkey says the rain melted the snow in time for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.

The Packers often ask community members to help shovel the Lambeau Field stands if snow falls before a home game.

This would have been the fifth time this season the Packers have asked for shovelers.

No true Packers fan would ever hope they lose today...or ever.

While I may be a Packer fan I hope the Lions win Sunday. May be that will wake someone up in Green Bay

The shovelers should show anyway. Maybe they could beat the Lions.
