MILWAUKEE (AP) — The National Weather Service predicts heavy rain and melting snow may lead to flooding in southern Wisconsin.

The weather service has issued a flood warning for the Sugar River at Brodhead from Sunday morning until Wednesday afternoon.

At 9:15 a.m. today the Sugar River at Brodhead was at 2.8 feet; flood stage is 5 feet. The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by late morning on Sunday.

Meteorologists say warm, moist air will bring rain and isolated thunderstorms to southern Wisconsin Saturday, with the heaviest rain possibly being in the southeast corner.

The weather service says rain, warmer temperatures and melting snow will likely lead to some flooding problems.

Potholes are one of two ways that the state of Illinois uses to slow speeders down. The other way is putting a toll booth up every 20 feet. Crazy flatlanders. lol

Just drove to Chicago and back this morning. Be careful on I-90 East of Rockford. Both sides have bad potholes if anyone is going that way.
