Janesville School District director retiring
JANESVILLE -- Doug Bunton, who has managed the Janesville School District's finances since 1986, will retire in June, the district announced this morning.
Superintendent Tom Evert, who also is retiring in June, praised Bunton's service and said the school board may want to take this opportunity to examine and possibly change the structure of the district's top management.
The Janesville Gazette plans a full story on Bunton for Saturday's paper.

I hope they do hire someone good! With industry leaving our town, cheaper homes, and great schools may be all we have to offer!

To quote SarahB "Just got to change your prespective on all these people retiring, resigning, etc.: Lots of upper-income job openings!!"
Great, more upper management jobs so we can pay an outside firm to overlook Janesville Residents and hire from who knows where!

Doug Bunton is a VERY good man through and through. He's retiring, because he wants to / because it's time / because he woke up this morning and said to his wife "I've had enough!" Just as all of us will at some point. Don't think that MANY don't have his back, because your WRONG!
