Bombardier Recreational laying off one-fifth
STURTEVANT, Wis. (AP) — The power sports industry is among those hit hard by the global economic recession, causing Bombardier Recreational Products to layoff about a fifth of its workforce — or about 100 jobs.
About 40 white-collar jobs and 60 hourly workers will be cut this week and next.
Bombardier makes Evinrude outboard engines at its Sturtevant plant.
A seven-week production shutdown will follow the layoffs.

Yes, the old OMC on Prairie Ave in Beloit. I used to work for OMC until December 20th, 2000. I still have the notice very close to me at work so I can read it when this current job makes me frustrated.
