I was out and about at midnight. Roads were not bad. Then again you really shouldnt have too many problems driving in this weather unless you drive like its summer out.
Its been a lovely evening getting the Christmas tree and cooking dinner watching the snow and ICE come down..... It is truly a nice evening just to be indoors...
"Motorists should not travel in Rock County tonight unless absolutely necessary, according to a news release issued by the county sheriff's department.
Roads in the county are becoming ice-covered, causing drivers to lose control of their vehicles, the release says.
Road conditions are expected to worsen as freezing rain mixed with sleet continues to fall tonight, according to the release. The precipitation is expected to change to snow by Tuesday morning.
Ice accumulations could be up to ΒΌ inch thick, the release says. Anywhere from 3 to 6 inches of snow could fall by Tuesday night, according to the release, which cites the National Weather Service."
I just got home after a 30 mile commute from Southwestern Walworth county to Janesville. I would say "good winter driving conditions". I won't predict what it will be like in the morning though. {:>)

Is it even doing anything outside yet? Not that I can see. Hopefully, this storm will arrive late and leave us early.
