Body recovered from Madison lake identified
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A body recovered from Lake Monona in Madison has been identified as that of a missing swimmer.
The body was recovered Thursday at the south side of Madison’s isthmus.
Coroner John Stanley said Thursday night the body was that of the missing man, 40-year-old Erik Jensen of Cottage Grove.
He disappeared Aug. 17 after going for a swim.
