Baldwin to address Democratic Convention on Tues.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin is scheduled to address the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday, the second night of the party gathering in Denver.
Baldwin was a high-profile supporter of Hillary Rodham Clinton. She’ll be speaking on the same night Sen. Clinton is scheduled to speak, a night whose theme will be „Renewing America’s Promise.“
Baldwin’s talk will be part of the Democratic Party’s focus on women and the economy. The five-term congresswoman from Madison is expected to discuss health care issues.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi lauds Baldwin as a leader in holding the White House accountable to the needs of Americans struggling to get by.
The Democratic convention is scheduled to run for four days starting Monday.

It will take us 20 years to unscrew what George W has done to screw up our nation domestically and internationally and someone is criticizing Hillary Clinton. What a joke.

A more accurate statement would be she's "expected to promote a plan for SOCIALIZED MEDICINE". What she won't mention during her address on Tuesday is the increase in beaucracy and annual U.S. debt a socialized medicine plan would cost us. Name anything the federal government has ever run efficiently or with less cost ? Yes, let's stop spending $500B on babysitting the Iraqi civil war. But we'll still be running an annual deficit. Need to CUT spending.

Political positions aside, Wisconsinites should be proud to see one of our representatives have an important role in a high profile event such as the Democratic National Convention.
