From the WCLO newsroom:

Community leaders, residents in the Fourth Ward and Look West neighborhoods, and law enforcement colleagues told a panel Wednesday night their impressions of the Janesville Police Department. Overall, the reviews were positive. Two residents voiced concerns about the department, but their concerns were not within the standards the panel uses to measure the department's success.

Although there are always going to be bad news about the Police (some real and some misguided), it's nice that in a public forum like that, that it was almost entirely positive. With all the negative on these boards, I think a lot of people don't have the guts to actually tell them in person.

Nice to see some good news for a change. We can use it with all the other bad stuff going on.
