The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has issued a wind advisory, which is in effect until 3:00 p.m.

Look for south winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 45 mph later this morning and into the afternoon. Winds will diminish late this afternoon as a trough of low pressure and associated cold front gets closer to the area.

A wind advisory is issued when sustained winds of 30 mph or greater, or gusts in excess of 45 mph, are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult on east west oriented roads, especially for high profile vehicles. Secure loose items in the yard such as lawn furniture and garbage cans. Use caution while outdoors.
