Midwest says MD-80s back in service
MILWAUKEE (AP) - Midwest Airlines says its grounded MD-80 planes are back in service today.
Now, it's the fog that could disrupt the airline's flight schedule.
The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory for the area, which means visibility is reduced to less than a-fourth mile.
Midwest Airlines had canceled up to 21 flights as of yesterday because it grounded 13 planes to re-inspect a wiring harness.
Three-thousand-600 passengers Midwest Airlines passengers were among about 250,000 American Airlines travelers whose flights were canceled this week because of a Federal Aviation Administration order involving MD-80s.
