Wisconsin got $9.6 billion in federal aid last year
MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A new audit says Wisconsin got about $9.6 billion in federal aid last year.
The state departments of Health and Family Services, Workforce Development, Transportation and Public Instruction along with the University of Wisconsin System administered about 95 percent of the federal assistance. Health and Family Services spent the biggest chunk at nearly $4 billion, including almost $3 billion for medical help.
The Legislative Audit Bureau report found state agencies generally complied with federal rules for using the money properly. The study did find that 10 inmates improperly received food stamp benefits and there were grant match reporting errors at UW-Eau Claire and UW-Milwaukee.

Why is the Federal Government spending this much on medical costs?? Do you ask your neighbor to pay for your medical needs. It isn't any different. What is next?? Should he pay for the gas in your car??
